“ We had a party of 7. Came in right around 6:15pm. Were immediately sat. Appetizers were brought out very quickly. Food came out fast and was hot. Everything tasted great and was as ordered. My only complaint was my beverage (Painkiller) was EXTREMELY stout, which I am certain that would not be a complaint for most people. Would definitely recommend and come back! It’s 7:05 and I’m writing this review. We have all eaten and were very impressed. ”

“ My girlfriend and I decided on Dee’s because I wanted some hushpuppies. (I really like hushpuppies) They were huge, very well made, and definitely fried to order (didn’t seem like they had been sitting under a heat-lamp). I had seen a pic of their gumbo and the super dark color of the roux begged for me to try it. I can honestly say I’ve never had gumbo this good from a restaurant! The roux was super rich and had a subtle heat that made me want more. Really outstanding!! My partner had the kids portion of fried fish with collard greens and both were prepared perfectly. (I wanna add a thanks for not caring about her ordering from the kids menu too. I see nothing wrong with ordering a smaller portion of food if that’s all you wanna eat whether you’re 5 or 35.) And, finally, the impetus for the review, the key lime pie. We ordered a slice to go and I had nearly forgotten about it when we got back to the condo. I already couldn’t stop talking about the meal and then realizing that their key lime pie was made with the same thought and care as everything else, I knew I had to say something. We’ll be back!! Order the Gumbo!! ”

“ A bit pricey but it is great seafood! My son and I split the crab leg platter. I got the fried green tomatoes which were really good. The bloody Mary was super salty and not my favorite. My husband got one of the 6 Margaritas and it was really good especially for the price. ”

“ The service was wonderful as was the food. I had the she crab soup and the seafood gumbo. Tons of seafood and flavour in both soups. I appreciated the authenticity of the seafood gumbo. The roux color and consistency was perfect. Using crab, shrimp, chicken, and sausage instead of just shrimp or chicken. I've had alot of gumbo at restaurants from Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida, and this has been the best most authentic one so far. ”
